Our “Fables” collection takes up the classic stories attributed to Aesop and later rewritten by Samaniego, Iriarte and Jean de la Fontaine. In this piece we illustrate the story of “The wolf in sheep’s clothing” where a wolf, believing himself to be very clever, disguises himself as a sheep to go unnoticed in the flock, but the shepherd ends up cooking him for dinner, mistaking him for a sheep. Made of cast bronze and hand polished, bathed with two types of precious metals, Gold and Palladium in the graphite color area. From the jaws of the animal hangs a tear with a scarlet red crystal, The central piece of 5 cm long by 2 wide. It has a thin 40 cm gold plated brass chain with extensor.
